I've had eczema since I was six months old. I know what the loop feels like from the inside.
Registered Nutritional Therapist specialising in eczema, the gut-skin axis, and histamine intolerance — for adults and children.

My Story
For most of my childhood and adult life, the conversation about my eczema went the same way. GP, dermatologist, allergy specialist. New creams, stronger creams, different antihistamines. And the recurring message, delivered with varying degrees of sympathy: eczema is incurable. Learn to manage it.
Managing it, for me, meant living with fingers so swollen, split, and cracked that everyday tasks were painful. It meant the constant mental load of flares — covering up, avoiding, explaining, hiding. It meant years of appointments that ended with a prescription rather than an answer.
I wasn't given a reason. I was given a treatment plan for the surface, with nothing said about what was driving it underneath.
Everything shifted when I finally found a practitioner who looked at the whole picture — my gut health, my food triggers, my histamine load, my nutrient status. Not just my skin.
The changes that followed weren't overnight, but they were real and they held. My skin settled in a way it never had on creams alone. I understood, for the first time, what had actually been happening — and what had changed.
I was so struck by the difference that I went back into education and retrained as a Registered Nutritional Therapist. I studied at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition and went on to complete a Master's degree. I wanted to understand the science properly — not just what had worked for me, but why, and how to apply it reliably for other people.
My work
Ten years on, I hold full registration with BANT (the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine) and CNHC (the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council). I work with adults and children — from infants to teenagers — as well as their families.
Alongside my own practice, I'm the nutritional therapist at Mosaic Medical, a doctor-led integrative clinic, and the only one on their team. I see their patients across a wide range of conditions, including the clinic's breast cancer service, working alongside their doctors and specialists. It's the same approach I bring to every client: nutritional therapy as part of the team around you, not apart from it.
My clinical focus is the gut-skin axis: the well-established connection between gut health and skin inflammation. Most of the clients I work with have persistent eczema, dermatitis, histamine intolerance, or MCAS — conditions where the skin is the signal, but the drivers are elsewhere.

The Eczema Trap™ framework is what I've built from a decade of clinical practice, combined with having lived in the loop myself. It maps the 10 most common root drivers of chronic eczema and gives clients a structured, evidence-informed path through them — whether through the self-guided protocols, or through one-to-one clinical work.
I also hold specialist accreditation to support clients with eczema alongside a cancer diagnosis or cancer history. And for clients whose eczema is entangled with a difficult relationship with food, I am completing specialist training in eating disorder support — this will be available as a dedicated service shortly.

My approach
I work alongside your existing medical care, not instead of it. I'm not here to tell you to stop seeing your GP or your dermatologist. I'm here to address the part of the picture that most medical appointments don't have the time or the remit to address.
That means looking at the gut, at food triggers, at histamine, at nutrient status, at the skin barrier — and at how these interact in your specific case. No two people with eczema have exactly the same picture, which is why generic advice so rarely works.
I also know how much eczema takes from people. Not just the physical discomfort, but the mental load — the planning, the covering up, the explaining, the hope and disappointment of each new thing you try. That context is part of what I bring to every consultation.
